Stockyards 2 is located in the beautiful town of Jindabyne, NSW - the gateway to the Snowy Mountains. Perfect for a winter or summer holiday escape, the apartment is centrally located in a quiet position with uninterrupted and breath taking 180º views of Lake Jindabyne and the mountains. An approximate 5 minute walk and you'll be in the Jindabyne Town Centre or at the edge of Lake Jindabyne. Thredbo and Perisher Ski Resorts are approximately a 35 minute drive and during the ski season the Skitube (providing access to Perisher only) is just a 20 minute drive if you're travelling to Perisher via the Skitube.

Stockyards 2 is a fully self contained townhouse comprising of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each bedroom has a flexible bedding configuration so you can choose to have either 1 king bed or 2 single beds making the apartment perfect for couples, a group of friends or families. There's also an extra single sofa bed for a 7th person.

 

On the upper level you'll find:

* Spacious open plan dining and lounge areas with plenty of seating for everyone and a cosy gas log fireplace

* Smart TV with Fetch TV

* Balcony with 180º views of Lake Jindabyne and the mountains, outdoor table and chairs and a barbeque

* Master bedroom (1 king bed) with an ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet and a 2nd Smart TV

* Fold-out single sofa bed for a 7th person (on request only and set up in the master bedroom. Recommended for a child only though it will suit some adults)

* Fully self contained kitchen including a dishwasher and DeLonghi nespresso coffee machine - (BYO nespresso coffee pods)

*  2 bedrooms both with lake views (each room can be either 1 king bed or 2 single beds)

*  Bathroom with combined shower/bathtub

*  Double garage

*  Foyer for all your coats, hats and shoes with underfloor heating

*  Laundry with washer and dryer

 

 

COMFORT

 

All the tiled areas upstairs and downstairs boast underfloor heating and the fireplace in the lounge room will keep you nice and cozy during the cooler months. There is a ceiling fan upstairs near the kitchen and in the master bedroom. The apartment is architecturally designed to allow a wonderful cross breeze on those warmer days. During summer we leave a picnic set and picnic blanket in the foyer for your use.

Stockyards 2 provides free Wi-Fi. Please be aware that due to the regional area and rapid changing weather conditions in the Snowy Mountains, Wi-Fi is not always guaranteed to be functional. 

 

 

THE STOCKYARDS

 

Stockyards are located just in front of the apartment on crown land. We are often asked "how often are the stockyards used"? They are used once a year on a date usually in between Christmas and New Year for Jindabyne's Man from Snowy River Rodeo. If you're lucky enough to be staying at Stockyards 2 during this time, it's a great day.
